Mancho

rankin scrooTour Dates - Coming Soon

Kenneth Karl Brown aka MANCHO was born March 12, 1972, and raised in Montego Bay St. James Parrish. The upcoming and new vibration recording artist began singing at the age of 13 at his local church where he and his grandmother, Ms. Pinny would attend regularly. He would also homed his skills performing at promotional events hosted by various sound systems in the area, who would be his biggest critic but his true vibe for encouragement to take his music talent seriously.

MANCHO left St James Parrish to seek his dream as a reggae artist in the streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Things were not as easy as he thought it would be. To maintain living expenses, Kenneth relied on his talents as a tailor and fashion designer during the day and at night MANCHO was about putting his musical talents to work in the studio. Through his day job, Kenneth would be exposed to some of the hottest reggae artists around town and also have the privilege and clientele of Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Ghost, Richie Stevenson, Tanto Metro and many others. But the one artist who would listen and encourage MANCHO the artist to make music his number one gig, his priority was Chrisinti.

This also led MANCHO to meet up with his childhood musical influence Terry Ganzie and invite him to partake in a musical concert hosted and promoted by his own production company. The relationship build between the two and musically, MANCHO was being professionally groomed and harbored amongst many acts waiting for their chance to hit the musical scene. He recorded his first single; “Give Her It” off Rainbow Castle Recording Label.

After Rainbow Castle recording, he met Daddy Lizard, a well-known recording artist in his own rights, worked with MANCHO to build his exposure in Kingston by performing in annual stage shows such as Spring Bling, and Reggae in the Valley and Riding West in Montego Bay.

This exposure caught the eye of Simple Green Grass Production owner, Conroy “Kocjo’ Chambers. Chambers has teamed up to produce MANCHO’s first and upcoming album which is expected to be released August 2011.

“Roadblock” “Groovin,” “Empress” “Thinking AboutYou” “Instrumental” are just a few recordings that merely braised the surface of the talents Mancho beholds, but implants the potential capabilities that this talented singer is able to produce given the challenge. His vocal abilities and rhythmic harmonies and catchy chorus lines encompass passion, truth, and more importantly, keeps your attention and leaving you to wanting more.

MANCHO is truly an artist who is a force to be reckoned with and a “First Class Act On The Rise.”
